The manufacturer was notified of the failure. Found some records at the dealers that says engine went in 2013 with 2,600 miles on it too. Feel like this car has been one defect after another which led to other defects happening and premature wear and tear on other parts. Yes they are willing to say they can fix anything. Which meant she had not even started my case. They all left at 7:30-8:00 when dealer closes and left me sitting there until 8:40 pm. Had to shut off the car multiple times to get started again and for it to finally shift into gears.
My gmc acadia with 30,150 miles has been in the shop 2 times in one week for a serious problem. The check engine warning light illuminated on the instrument panel. Dealer said problem was open draft ssensor The shifting is very harsh in lower gears, especially between 1st and 2nd and when the transmission is warm. I am to the point where I am ready to start a lawsuit. A couple of the accessories pop out every now and again so that could be better. Oh I am not happy my Acadia is in the shop for the 2nd time now, I have a rental they said it will be days before I get it back it was hesitating and then reving they said it is internal transmission issues!! The tcm is messed up, which is a very common problem with all Acadias, apparently. Easy to purchase at the dealership.
The local dealership is so friendly but they are stuck trying to fix a product with no hope. After only a couple weeks of ownership we dropped off our new vehicle to be repaired. I'm very upset as I when on the internet And found out that several other people have had the same problem. In December 2015, the check engine began staying on all the time and the gears did not shift correctly. I purchased my car and drove home. I drove 5 hours from my hometown.

My car as less than 25,000 miles on it. Then 3 and 5 went. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. Why is it in my floorboard in the backseat where my daughter sits?! The repairs will be taken care of. Whenever a right turn was attempted, the vehicle stalled.

Always keep levels checked and changed when needed. The fuse boxes are made of layers of flimsy metal sheets so the sockets for the fuses wear out. However, if you go to one of those franchise shops, it'll be hard to judge the experience level of their tech's. I work on these 2 vehicles constantly.
We can't even get rid of the vehicle due to the never ending check engine light and its constant engine light led to it failing inspection making the car undrivable eventually we did get a passed inspection. How reassuring it is to leave someone in a dealership while they all get in their cars and go home and I sit with 2 of my children waiting on a ride. However, you don't know the condition of the transmission before the vehicle it's in, wound up in the junkyard. There are so many recalls on this vehicle that all of them should be just called in and repaired.

While driving 40-45 mph, the engine would not switch gears. I don't understand why this is happening at this point.
