The dials were the roud ones Later style dash and all switchgear wiring just plug and played into the 90 spec fusebox Incidentally I changed the entire car loom to a 90 spec one to make it a 'proper job'. Yeah the later pedal box makes life much easier for the hydraulic clutch. Next thing was to get the steering rack and bracket out of there. The looms were hanging in the footwell and were really getting the in the way. Didn't get a chance to do any real work yesterday.
One question for you, was it hard to take the Mk4 dash out? I do not have full function on the dash vents but it looks like this could be fabricated with flexible hoses and a bit of ingenuity! And only uses a standard H4 bulb! It'll look much better when it's braided and routed properly. Here is a couple of partsv that will come in handy as well. I'm conident that the instrument cluster can be made to look correct. Corrado teering rack is a bit tight. Yeah the sycro would look nice in Bright Blue Metallic! Are you planning on having the height adjustment on your syncro? For my rado dash conversion I Built a new bolt in steerin column support from one I cut from the donor rado and some steel I had. I know that nobody has ever called me out on my cluster once I completed the work. I'll try to incorporate a ciggy lighter into the dash somewhere else.
